Ungkap Ada Kejanggalan Dalam Foto Jenazah Covid-19, Anji Dikecam Pihak PFI

RINGTIMES BANYUWANGI - Organisasi profesi Pewarta Foto Indonesia (PFI) mengecam pernyataan musikus Anji terkait sebuah foto karya jurnalistik mengenai jenazah Covid-19 yang sedang viral di media sosial.

Pengecaman tersebut terjadi karena Anji membuat opini penghakiman sepihak terhadap foto karya jurnalistik yang dibuat oleh Joshua Irwandi, fotografer yang mendapatkan grant dari National Geographic.

"PFI Pusat telah menghubungi Joshua Irwandi terkait foto tersebut untuk memastikan keabsahan dari karya jurnalistiknya yang viral itu," kata Ketua PFI Pusat Reno Esnir, dalam keterangan resminya, Senin 20 Juli 2020.

"Dari hasil diskusi tersebut, Joshua telah mematuhi kode etik jurnalistik, mematuhi prosedur perizinan, dan mengikuti segala macam protokol kesehatan yang diwajibkan oleh pihak rumah sakit," terangnya.

Reno menegaskan, kerja jurnalistik dilindungi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers dan Kode Etik Jurnalistik. PFI pun mengeluarkan enam pernyataan terkait pernyataan mantan personel Drive tersebut.

"PFI mengecam serta mengutuk opini yang tidak berimbang dan terkesan dibuat-buat dari saudara Anji, yang menyebabkan keresahan di kalangan pewarta foto, fotografer, dan masyarakat umum," tegas Reno.

FPI, ujar Reno, juga mendesak Anji untuk meminta maaf secara terbuka kepada seluruh pewarta foto Indonesia. Anji juga diminta menghapus unggahan di akun Instagram pribadinya terkait foto karya Joshua Irwandi.

"PFI mendesak sdr. Anji untuk meluruskan apa yang sebenar-benarnya terjadi, sebelum, saat, dan sesudah proses pengambilan foto jurnalistik karya Joshua Irwandi di Instagram," kata Reno.

"Kami berharap agar tidak lagi ada yang membandingkan kerja jurnalistik pewarta foto dengan buzzer, influencer, Youtuber, Vlogger, dan sejenisnya," sambung dia ditulis Antara.

"Karena kerja jurnalistik dilandasi oleh fakta yang ada di lapangan, memiliki kode etik yang jelas, dan dilindungi oleh undang-undang," tutur Reno menegaskan.

Sebelumnya, Anji mengomentari sebuah unggahan foto karya Joshua Irwandi mengenai jenazah pasien Covid-19 yang menjadi viral di media sosial. 

Anji menyebut terdapat beberapa kejanggalan dalam foto tersebut. Menanggapi hal itu, Anji pun berencana memberikan klarifikasi.

Seorang fotografer lepas bernama Nyimas Laula lewat Twitternya, @NyimasLaula, mencoba membantah argumen Anji.

Ia menjelaskan bahwa seorang pewarta memang memiliki prosedur tersendiri untuk mengabadikan berita mengenai wabah baik dalam bentuk foto maupun video.
